I2MTC 2018 conference spans research, development and applications in the field of instrumentation and measurement science and technology. To enhance industry engagement and increase exchange between industry members, as well as between industry and academic members, an Industry Day Special Event is being organized at I2MTC 2018.
Industry Day will focus on all aspects of instrumentation and measurement technologies, methods, and applications achieved by our industry colleagues, giving an opportunity to the I&M industry to present to their colleagues their new technologies, new applications, or even new challenges. We anticipate strong participation from those working in oil and gas, biomedical, aerospace and defense, as well as academia, though participation is not limited to these industries.
Prospective authors are invited to submit through EDAS. Affiliation of the FIRST or the CORRESPONDING author must be from industry. Each abstract and subsequent presentation must be within the scope and topics of I2MTC and should explain the significance of the technologies/methods/applications in the presentation, and contain a list of key references. Authors of accepted abstracts must register for the Conference and attend to give their presentations during the Industry Day event.
Accepted abstracts will appear in the conference program and in the proceedings distributed during the conference, but will not appear in IEEE Explore. However, authors of Industry Presentations shared during I2MTC 2017 will be allowed to submit extended versions of their presentations as papers to the Special Issue of IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation & Measurement on I2MTC 2018, to be published in 2019.
Submission of abstracts is allowed continuously through March 30, 2018.
Notification of presentation acceptance will be given soon after the submitted abstract is reviewed to facilitate registration process.
